Doing mirror work in the @hungryforhappiness certification program to become certified as an Intuitive Eating and Body Freedom Coach makes me realize I still have some negative thoughts about my body. It made me realize that I have more of my own work to do with really, truly, loving my body as is. I no longer let those thoughts trigger me or prevent me from living my life, or throwing a bikini on. I no longer even think about restricting to try to control or change my body. I do see myself naked in the mirror every time I get out of the shower, but I've never really sat and looked at her as long as I have in the mirror work we are to do each day as part of our own practices. # It can be confronting when we remove the layers of protection we get from our clothing. It is really a beautiful practice though and I'm open to see where it leads as I get even more comfortable with my body and especially the parts that don't fit societal ideals like my soft belly and lack of thigh gap. It's made me want to ditch the shirt and expose the parts that have been the hardest to fully love. # I no longer think my belly looks disgusting, I no longer pinch the fat in disgust, I no longer think my belly is less than, but there is still some ...
Opal and Sage
Anybody else struggle with balance? I feel like I shouldn't take a break because if I have extra time I should be creating something! I'm giving myself permission to relax with my pup and get lost in a book. It's important to take time out of our day to take care of our mind, body and soul ✨

Orange Theory Fitness just opened in Singapore! So happy to have this workout option right next to my place. I can tell I'm not in the best shape...too much red zone!! Highly recommend this workout if you have one in your city 👍 #otf
