“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.” Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince . There’s a reason why phrases like “the HEART of the matter, the HEART of it all, know it by HEART…” exists. . . . The heart is the command center of our soul. It pulses, signals, and feels. It listens and speaks. It drums and hums. Do we listen? Are we brave enough to live in a way that is heart forward and centered? . The heart has the capacity to radiate the highest aspects of the human being: compassion, unconditional love and total faith in the Divine. But it also has the capacity to radiate our deepest feelings of insecurity, disappointment, loneliness and despair. Tuning into to our hearts, listening, feeling, and moving from our there is POWER- FULL. This week we are exploring the power within our hearts in our Sacred Power class! Join us: Tuesday and Thursday 7:30pm Saturday 8:30am #sacredchillwest#artofchill#sacredpower#whereatlantachills
Wherever the mind is in control you are not living. When the mind is not there, then you are actually living That's why when people ask me, "What is the purpose of life?", my answer is, If you are living you wouldn't ask that question. The purpose of life is to live. What does that mean? To live the life of the senses. The senses must be independent and free of the mind. Now what's happening is you are not at all experiencing reality. Reality to you is what is flowing through the senses. Now, all the time you are interpreting whatever data is coming into you. You look at a tree and you say it's a big tree, small tree, green tree, mango tree, this & that. All the time comments are going on. When you sit down to eat food, you are not eating food. You start worrying about your office or your family or this or that, or comment on the food itself. The food is not being experienced. If you experience reality as it is, then you will just experience bliss. You will see this whole creation is perfect. It's the most beautiful thing and that you are already in heaven - SRI BHAGAVAN
"There is a famous saying, ‘If you worry, then you didn’t pray. If you prayed, then don’t worry.’ Spirituality is not a ritual. It is the science of merging with Existence. From time immemorial, the first thing that all world religion did was to create a space for the divine to become a part of life. A temple is a space to reconnect with the cosmic energy and be restful in it. That was the core purpose of all world religions. And when the connection deepened, it became a blissful space within oneself. Religion was a clear stepping stone to spirituality. The greatest saints of India who had the power of willing the cosmos to lovingly respond, achieved this power through spirituality. There was a man by name Muruganar who was an ardent devotee of Shiva. Every day before break of dawn he would bathe in the cool waters of the river, gather flowers from trees, fields, the river and creepers and make garlands for the Shiva deity in the temple. He would walk to the temple everyday taking care while walking not to disturb the flowers in their setting in the garland! After offering them to the deity he would chant sacred verses for long hours. It is said that he attained enlightenment through just this innocent worship. Today he is worshipped as one of the 63 saints called Nayanmars who attained enlightenment through innocent devotion to god. Spirituality is an opening to express innocence ...
Everything in this creation sacrifices for another. Look at a tree which gives its fruits to others or the earth which bears even those who hurt. The nature of this creation is to sacrifice and give up for others. But human beings alone live a very self centered life. They are not in tune with nature and hence they suffer. Sacrifice is not giving up something that is not necessary for us. It is not done in a state of comfort. It is the extra effort we put for others, the pains taken which might even mean a little personal loss. Only when you give you receive. Only those who serve deserve - SRI AMMA

Sometimes we go through periods in life where balance is fleeting or even nonexistent. . Just after this picture was taken. I fell. First in a heap. Then flat. And I was present to the falling, landing, and getting up. . I am myself. and I am a partner, parent, business owner, engaged community member, support to extended family... . would balance be splitting 100% into "equal" parts in attending to all of those very important and essential aspects of my being all at the same time? . I don't know the answer. I do know my practice looks less like this picture, and more like this lately: When I talk, have dinner, or take a walk with my husband, there's no phone or computer out. I am present. When I play with my son, I am with him, fully. When I am talking to my mama and she's telling me the same story for the 10th time, I'm all there. When I check-in students for class, totally there. When I teach, my heart and mind are all in the room. . It's hard to divide it all up in a "balanced" way, so lately I've stopped trying to do that. . I practice presence. 100% of the time I practice this. Doesn't have to be perfect, just intentional. Where ever I am. Whoever I am with- being as fully there as the moment allows until that moment gives way to a new place or shift, and then ...

☥ Initiation ☥ by Elisabeth Haich . Written at the request of her advanced students, ‘Initiation’ is an illuminating autobiography that connects the twentieth century European life of internationally beloved teacher Elisabeth Haich and her lucid memories of initiation into the hidden mystical teachings of the priesthood in ancient Egypt. A compelling story within a story emerges detailing the life experiences that catalysed her spiritual path. . In an earlier life in ancient Egypt, a young woman is prepared for initiation into the esoteric secrets of the priesthood by the High Priest Ptahhotep, who instructs her step-by-step, consistent with her development, in the universal truths of life. . Throughout this extraordinary book, Elisabeth Haich shares usually hidden truths that only a few rare individuals in any generation, seek, find and communicate with others, enabling the reader to awaken within the essential understanding necessary to enlighten any life no matter what events manifest. . In twentieth century Europe, from childhood to adulthood, through war and remarkable meetings, she demonstrates the power of turning the searchlight of one’s consciousness inward and using every life event towards expanding consciousness. . Initiation is a timeless classic communicated in modern terms inspiring generations of spiritual seekers globally. Whether read as an autobiographical novel unveiling mystical truths or as a unique glimpse into Elisabeth Haich’s exceptional journey to initiation, the personal impact on the reader is profound. . To read Initiation is to be part of the initiation itself. . Hieronymus & Abrams bookclub, curated by ...
There are turning points in life that need to be documented and remembered. Those days will become befores and afters in the narrative. Energetic anchorings of embodied shift, having crossed a bridge and stepping forth onto new land. On the surface, nothing different. Inside the Earth though, magma reaching the crucial degree. Somewhere in a distant ocean, away from human observation, a new island is being birthed.
