I actually don't like including these in programs for clients unless I know they can perform them correctly. If they can't, it won't be an effective choice as a back exercise, so we'd regress to a lat pulldown. ___ Cues in the video: 🔹Start each rep with a dead-hang to fully stretch the lats 🔹To initiate the lift, dont think about using your hands to raise you. Lead by driving your elbows into your back pocket 🔹You want to arch using your upper back by scapular retraction & depression (google it). Pull chest to bar 🔹Brace abs and squeeze glutes to minimize swaying ___ Just as a disclaimer, this is only 3.5 reps because I decided to film this at the very end of my back workout, which was a bad idea. lol don't be a dingus like me. Do these in the beginning of your workout in the 5-15 rep range. I'd also suggest warming up using the lat pulldown. 💪
